Blue River Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility Plan and Improvements Design
KMB is providing I&C design services for the Blue River Wastewater Treatment Plant Facility Plan and Improvements Design Project. The first phase of the project includes a condition assessment of the existing grit facility and proposed modifications for a new grit facility. The I&C design will determine the new facility's connectivity into the existing plant's SCADA system as well as include the development of P&ID's that identify the proposed process equipment and instrumentation.

KMB is providing construction contract administration services for the replacement of the medium voltage switchgear at the Secondary Pump Station and replacement of the medium voltage switchgear and unit substations at the Chemical Building.

Water Treatment Plant Improvements
KMB is providing construction contract administration services for the installation of a new SCADA system at the Water Treatment Plant. After the project is completed, the plant will be capable of communicating with eleven remote well sites, two remote water tower sites, and the City's two wastewater treatment plants.

Plant 2 Biological Nutrient Removal Improvements
KMB is providing I&C design services for the Dewatering and Centrate Equalization Improvements at the Plant 2 WWTP. The design includes P&IDs, control loop descriptions, IO list, and instrumentation specifications for new Centrifuges, Chemical Feed Systems, and a Centrate Equalization Tank with associated valve vaults and pump station.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements
KMB is designing new SCADA systems at the East and Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plants. The new system will allow the operators to monitor and control plant operations from workstations at the treatment plants, as well as communicating with the Water Treatment Plant via the City's fiber optic system.

Lemay Pump Station No. 3
KMB is finalizing electrical design consulting services for the Lemay Pump Station No. 3, a project that is part of the District's Lower and Middle RDP CSO Control Systems Improvements. The design includes medium voltage switchgear, medium voltage motors and controllers, distribution transformers, and low voltage power distribution. The project includes coordination with the local utility who is contracted to build a new utility substation on site to power the new pump station.

Lower Meramec WWTF Expansion Phase II
KMB is providing construction contract administration services for the Phase II Expansion at the Meramec Wastewater Treatment Plant. The expansion includes improvements to the influent pump station, fine screening, solids dewatering, primary and secondary clarifiers, aeration basins, RAS/WAS pump station, disinfection, and odor control.

Stickney Water Treatment Plant Electrical Improvements
KMB is providing construction contract administration services for the replacement of the low voltage distribution system at the water treatment plant, which includes a new service entrance rated switchboard interlocked with two diesel stand-by generators, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, low voltage transformers and panelboards. The existing lighting fixtures are being replaced with LED fixtures.
